COVID-19 GUIDANCE
We are currently taking bookings for spring and summer and hope to be open as soon as guidelines allow us.
General Guidance
Our priority remains to protect the health of our staff, guests and our wider community. To help suppress the spread of the Covid-19 virus this means staying within the government public health guidelines.
If you are vulnerable or you or someone you live with has or has had symptoms of Covid-19, do not leave home to take part in sport or physical activity. People who are shielding should not undertake activities. If you are symptomatic you should self-isolate for 7 days; household members for 14 as per the NHS guidance.
All exercise taken must be consistent with current Scottish Government guidance on health, physical distancing and hygiene. There may be a need to adapt to changes in guidance at short notice. Information on Scottish Government’s approach to managing COVID-19 is available here.

Bookings
We are currently open and taking bookings in accordance with advice given from the Scottish Canoe Association,
It is our assurance that should your trip not be able to go ahead due Covid-19 government guidelines or Scottish Canoe Association guidance we will offer you the option to postpone your trip with us or receive a 100% refund.
All our gift vouchers will now be valid for an extra year, covering to the end of the 2021 season.
Our Process
We are now able to operate our trips to multiple social bubbles. Unless arranged for a private trip, our groups may include multiple guests. Physical distancing is still of high importance to us and we operate with 2m physical distancing measures in place, both between our guests and our staff. Of course, should it be required for us to enter the 2m bubble, we will endeavour to wear a mask is appropriate and possible.
Our canoes/kayaks and paddles are throughly cleaned with a Log 6 disinfectant between trips, to eliminate the possibility of contact transmission. Our soft equipment is cleaned in a soap solution and given a 72 hour isolation period between use as recommended by current government guidelines. As a result of accommodating this, we are running at slightly lower than normal capacity on some days so our equipment is maintained safe and secure for your and our safety.
As part of our booking process, we require you to fill in our new section of our booking forms regarding Covid-19 measures. We will retain your details for a period after your trip to be in compliance with contact tracing measures, this is kept in a secure location only accessible by staff if required to be shared for contact tracing.
